Born in 1987 in Chang Chun, Jilin province in Northeastern China, Ren Hang is a photographer and poet currently based in Beijing. He uses naked bodies in an obsessed way to compose weird, provocative and interesting photos. He is extremely prolific and has published six photo books already. He has had multiple solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Photography works have been published in both Chinese and international magazines and books. Winner of Premio Terna 03 (Terna Prize for Contemporary Art) in 2010. Published solo photography books: Ren Hang, Room, Nude, My Depression and Republic.
