South African photographer, Pieter Hugo’s, images of the Hyena Men are everywhere these days, but I continue to be in awe of this work. The juxtaspostion of the freeway and the primaevil sense of the hyena is remarkable. It feels like these Nigerian performers have tamed dinosaurs and reminds me of a program I saw
