Gennadiy Chernega was born in the  Ukraine and currently lives in Kiev. He is self-taught and deeply engaged in all things photographic.  His work has been featured internationally on various sites, including the Photographic Museum of Humanity and the Ukrainian Photographic Alternative, and in numerous exhibitions spaces including the Art Gallery Lenin in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, and Chernihiv
