Upon viewing Michelle Bui’s showcase, “Affinités poreuses,” at McBride Contemporain last October, I was deeply moved. The large-scale images with vibrant color palette and textures struck a chord, delving into the remnants of overconsumption that defines our contemporary culture. This exploration aligns closely with my own photographic interests, forging my immediate bond with these images.
