Call me crazy, but I have been seeing a trend in photographing family life. It seems the dad’s are dealing with the years up to about 10 (Timothy Archibald, Blake Andrews, Shawn Records, David Bowman, Shawn Gust), and the mom’s have taken over the teen years (Lydia Panas, Martine Fougeron) and now Dona Schwartz. In the Kitchen was previewed recently on Photoeye and it takes us through the chaotic world of the family kitchen. Dona has managed to create wonderful tableaus of moments than are not usually captured and shared.
