A few months ago, I was asked to contribute to an interesting project titled The Ones We Love. The concept was to have a photographer take 6 images, outdoors, of the person they love the most and write a few sentences about that person. I got busy and forgot to submit…I’m kicking myself now after seeing the site. Along with the wonderful work of Shawn Gust, featuring his son, there are many other great stories and images on the site. I also love the idea of creating a project idea, curating it, and having it all take place outside of the traditional photographic arena. The photographers are taking over the ship!
