Bobby Davidson
Brooklyn photographer, Bobby Davidson, has had a good year. His work was included in the Canteen Magazine Awards at Powerhouse Arena, in States of Flux through the Aperture Foundation, and included in Daniel Cooneys’ Emerging Artist Auction, plus he garnered an MFA from Parsons The New School for Design.
The work featured below are images from his project, it’s you we’re a fter. These mysterious and cinematic images are presented without answers, and leaving the viewer to fill in the blanks. “The essence of this work surrounds the idea of transforming an everyday action or gesture into something otherworldly. The ending result is an unrecognizable motion devoid of any utilitarian purpose. The images are not staged and the subjects are completely unaware of what is taking place.”
