Kaylynn Deveney and Byron Wolfe
Whenever I want to revisit some inspirational work, I pluck out my copies of “The Day-to-Day Life of Albert Hastings” by Kaylynn Deveny and “Everyday” by Byron Wolfe. Both photographers understand that life is in the details and both are able to capture reality with sensitivity and heart. They also use words to enhance their works..Kaylynn’s images are accompanied by the jerky handwriting of Albert Hastings as he seeks to explain the image, and Byron manages to find just the right words to tell us in an instant what we are seeing.
