The New Documentarian Award by January 3, 2010

January 11th is the Due Date for the New Documentarian Award for a Long-Term Project, which is sponsored by The Julia Dean Photoworkshops.

This award does not refer to a new photographer doing documentary projects, (though a new photographer can certainly enter this contest). Rather, the New Documentarian Award refers to a new approach to showing, sharing, and promoting documentary photography.

Matt Eich was the 2008 winner, for his series, Carry Me Ohio.
