Content-Aware: A New Nothing
A New Nothing is an online project dedicated to facilitating two-person, image-based conversations between artists. It operates as an ongoing platform for collaboration, one that highlights the tangential, meandering and surprising nature of visual exchanges. It was also conceptualized as a space for artists to play in public – to follow impulses, ideas, and formal whims that they may not allow themselves to pursue within the boundaries of their art practices. Ultimately, A New Nothing exists as a mechanism to help people consider the poetic, narrative, metaphorical, thematic and formal implications of set of interconnected images.
