Grant Hamilton
Having the confidence to produce images that are simple is a great thing. Having the courage to make those same images on a photo workshop in Tuscany is an even greater thing. I was first made aware of Grant Hamilton’s work on Lydia Marcus’ blog, fotonomous. She posted a great article that Grant wrote on Minimalism in JPG Magazine. I recently came across his work again, and as a photographer who comes from the world of painting, totally appreciate. He’s the Rothko, Frank Stella, and Al Held of the photo world. You can read more about him here.
