SHOTS Magazine and Edoardo Pasero
Sometimes I yearn to look at a certain type of photograph–something black and white, square format, lovely and layered in meaning; quiet, yet significant and I always find those kind of images in SHOTS Magazine. When I see SHOTS peeking out of my stack of mail, it’s sort of like a Calgon moment when I want to set the world aside and say “ahhhhh” to spending time with a bubble bath of wonderful images. This issue, Male/Female, is no different and I especially loved the images by Edoardo Pasero from his two series, Half Life and On Permanence.
Edoardo hails from Alessandria, Italy and has this to say about his film based work: “To see is to let the world lay down on the eyeballs; photography let me embody this “lay down”.
