Photographer Robyn Twomey divides her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco, shooting a wide range of commercial portraiture and photo stories for a host of publications such as Time, Fortune, New York Times Magazine, Wired and New York Magazine. Her fine art work takes a look at some interesting subjects.

The first series, Medicine, captures individuals in the act of smoking medical marijuana. “She has photographed over 25 patients with an array of stories revealing a diverse group of physical and mental health patients that rely on cannabis versus prescription medication, despite the societal stigma and frail legality.” The second series, Playboy, showcases the combination of beauty plus age and the dream to stay desirable. Must admit, there is something satisfying know that nothing, not even plastic surgery, holds back time.
