This coming week, I am happy to say that I’ll be on vacation, doing the kind of activities reflected above. I’m really needing to recharge batteries, and actually make some new work. That’s the first bit of good news.

The second offering of good news is that I’ve asked a number of photographer friends to fill in for me while I’m away, in any way they want: feature a photographer, write an essay, report on something pertinent, or share something they have already produced. I’m really excited to see what they come up with. Huge thanks to Aaron Hobson, Tom Leininger, Caleb Cole, Jane Fulton Alt, Ann Mitchell, Kirsten Hoving, Sarah Hadley, James Friedman, and possibly a few more.

And if you have a minute, I goaded my friend and fellow photographer, Gray Malin, who modeled for me in this photograph, to apply for the Mad Men Casting call…if you feel like voting, maybe you’ll see him on the show! And feel free to vote once a day!
