Prison Photography and Pete Brook
continuing to look at the West Coast photography community…
I recently recieved an e-mail from Pete Brook, author and editor of the blog, Prison Photography: The Practice of Photography in Sites of Incarceration. Pete wrote a terrific piece on Stephen Tourlenetes, who photographs prisons at night, and Pete found visual connections with Scott B. Davis’ work who I recently featured.
Prison Photography, based in Seattle, is rich with thought-provoking writings and questions and will make you think about prisons in a whole new way. Definitely worth a visit.
