One of the joys of teaching and being part of a photographic community, is celebrating the successes of students and friends, and students that become friends. I was delighted to open my new copy of B&W Magazine’s 2009 Special Issue Portfolio Contest Awards and be greet by familiar images. Maura Brennan’s Holga panoramics, and Erich Hoeber’s 4×5 images of Cos Play are both Merit Award winners. Congratuations are in order!
