Photographer and writer, Susan Burnstine, gave me the heads up about a new photography blog, Photographer’s Speak, written by Dean Brierly. Dean was the Managing Editor of Camera & Darkroom and the Editorial Director of PhotoWork and has written for both publications, as well as for Black and White Magazine, Color Magazine, Far Out, I Photo Central, Outré, Photo Metro and Photovision. He is also a fine art photographer, exploring new ways of seeing through abstraction and color.

Photographer’s Speak contains “interviews (with) the men and women who are sharing the parameters of photography — from old school to new generation, traditional to cutting edge”. Dean inaugurates his blog with an interview with Matt Black, and right there, he has my attention.
