FotoVisura Inc. is delighted to announce The 2012 FotoVisura Pavilion in San Juan, Puerto Rico (August 30th-September 2nd, 2012) – a four-day contemporary photography event celebrating international and local photography through exhibitions, panel talks, and a portfolio consultation and review. Sponsored by the Viso Lizardi Family, The 2012 FotoVisura Pavilion is made possible in Puerto Rico with the support ofThe Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino, El Nuevo Dia and Buena Vibra Group, as well as many other local and international institutions. This year’s Guest Curator is Whitney Johnson, Director of Photography at The New Yorker. Co-founded by Adriana Teresa and Graham Letorney FotoVisura Inc. is a publishing, production, design, and online media company dedicated to photography. FV Inc. has produced Visura Magazine (2009), The FotoVisura Pavilion (2009), FotoVisura.com (2010), The FotoVisura Grant (2010), The FotoVisura Panel Discussions (2010), The FotoVisura Portfolio Consultation and Review (2011) and The Photo Editing Summer Sessions at the Visura Lodge (2012) in Stowe, Vermont.

The Portfolio Consultation & Review
As part of the 2012 FotoVisura Pavilion, FotoVisura Inc.
San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday, September 1, 2012. A dynamic session in which a photographer presents their work in one-on-one sessions with each of the participating editors. The goal is to assist with the preparation of a portfolio or projectfor formal presentation. The editorial team includes the Visura Magazinestaff as well as a carefully selected group of leading photography editors and curators. Each editor will meet with participants individually to review and give consultation on portfolios. Through this process, each photographer will receive a highly productive 3 hour intensive workshop with a variety of perspectiveand approaches from leading professionals.
