Siri Kaur
Continuing to look at Review LA participants
I remember first finding Los Angeles photographer, Siri Kaur’s series, Female Photographer Seeks Portrait Subjects, and being amazed by her ability to make a connection with strangers. When I saw her work from Alter Ego on exhibition I was wowed by the large scale portraits of strangers intent on acting out their their no-so-private fantasies. Siri’s new work, I, too, was in Arcadia, and Half of a Whole, demonstrates her diverse and intellectual approach to making imagery. Boston born, Siri received her MFA from Cal Arts, and I look forward to whatever she plans to explore in the future.
