Giacomo Brunelli
Galerie Camera Obscura in Paris is opening an interesting exhibition, Les Fables, with a stellar list of participating photographers. The exhibition opens on February 25th and runs through March 26, 2011. The photographers include Giacomo Brunelli, whose work is featured below, Hiroshi Watanabe, Michel Vanden Eeckhoudt, Sarah Moon + Ilona Suschitzky, Pentti Sammallahti, and Masao Yamamoto. THe work is consists of black and white imagery of our favorite creatures.
The work below is from Giacomo Brunelli‘s series, Animals. He has exhibited this series widely, from London (where he lives) to France and Cambodia. The series also is now a book, printed by Dewi Lewis Publishing, with an introduction by Alison Nordstrom.
Giacomo is essentially a street photographer, but with a specific focus on animals that cross his path.
