CENTER’s 2013 Awards, Grants, and Review Santa Fe

There are lots opportunities for submitting work these days, but CENTER has consistently set the standard for excellence in programming and provides a platform for emerging photographers to have their work seen in the world arena.  Photographer Alec Soth was one of many photographers whose career was helped launched through CENTER’s programming and after 18 years (founded in 1994), the number of photographers they have  promoted has been significant .
I am thrilled to announce that LENSCRATCH will be aligning with CENTER this year and featuring winning portfolios as part of the prize packages.  It is not without great consideration that I choose my alliances. I have been involved with CENTER through the years as a photographer sending in work, as a photographer attending Review Santa Fe, and last year as a pre-juror for Review Santa Fe participants.  I know the staff, the organization, and it’s mission, and hold it in the highest regard.  CENTER’s sole agenda is to help promote photographers. Period.  And they do it with professionalism, great consideration, and passion. They are always looking to raise the bar for what they can do for YOU.
So, consider submitting to the various opportunities that they offer this year.  The deadline is January 23rd.
There are four opportunities to consider: The Choice Awards, Project Launch, Project Development, and Review Santa Fe….
