Born in Minneapolis, MN, Bridget Collins currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.  Her work examines the relationship between manmade objects and the natural world, with a particular interest in physical guides and representations of things that are ephemeral or too large to see with your bare eyes.  The photographs pair things that are fleeting and long-lasting, sentimental and utilitarian, large and small, in an attempt to reconcile one’s place within the universe.  Her work has appeared in publications including Vice, Dear Dave, and Matte Magazine.  She is a contributing editor to the experimental publication Packet Biweekly.
