Michael Wolf: Transparent City
Just got back from a great trip to San Francisco and am filled up visually on so many good exhibitions. Visited the Robert Koch Gallery and enjoyed looking at Joel Meyerowitz’s new pool photographs, but was even more taken with Michael Wolf’s book, The Transparent City, his first series taken in the United States, in Chicago. Most of his work has been in China and his website is really worth the visit. His series, Bastard Chairs, is a favorite of mine. Stunning, masterful work.
