Andrew Miksys: Aaron Siskind Fellowship Winner

Seattle native, Andrew Miksys, divides his time between the United States and Vilniuns, Lithuania. In addition to the Aaron Siskind Grant, he has been selected for a number of other prestigious awards, including the Guggenheim Grant in 2000, the Fulbright Program in 1998 and 2002, and was selected by PDN as a “top 30 emerginging photographer’s to watch” in 2002. He has also published an extraordinary book of color photography on the Roma community of Lithuania, titled Baxt.
