Cig Harvey
I’ve always loved Cig Harvey’s work–her images are pared down and delicious, with a color sense that you can almost taste. The work fees like modern memories, and it’s her strong sensibility that has attracted clients like Kate Spade and a long roster of editorial publications. Maine Magazine has commissioned Cig to create a years worth of covers–she is soon to be the Norman Rockwell of the photo world.
Cig born in London but, now lives in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her MFA from Rockport College/ Maine Photographic Workshops in Rockport, Maine where she also teaches in the summertime and during the academic year, Cig teaches a variety of classes at the Art Institute of Boston. She is represented at numerous galleries including Kevin Logino Fine Photographs, Bassetti Fine Art Photographs in New Orleans, Joel Soroka in Aspen, Robin Rice Gallery in New York, and William Ryan Gallery in Belfast, Maine.
