Sarah Small
I’ve always liked Sarah Small’s off-kilter photographs, but seeing them grouped together in a eye popping article titled, Delight and Horror, in the new issue of 1000 Words Magazine, made me a bigger fan. The images are accompanied by a great article by Cara Phillips.
Born in Washington, D.C. and currently living in Brooklyn, Sarah combines bold color with juxtapositions of images that make you shift in your seat and revisit what you’ve just seen. She’s a teacher, and a commercial and fine art photographer, who is widely exhibited and published.
