Oliver Nowak: Aaron Siskind Fellowship Winner by June 5, 2009

continuing to feature Aaron Siskind Fellowship winners…

Brooklyn photographer, Oliver Nowak, received his MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2008. I am unsure which body of work was awarded with the Siskind Fellowship, but I found his series, Plasticity, quite fascinating. “Depictions of industrialized bodies and globalized minds where the question “what are you hiding?” replaces “what do you know?”
