Louis Porter
Australian photographer, Louis Porter, is a contemporary observer, capturing insignificant gestures, that when combined and catalogued, come together to confront us with the absurdities in our every day lives. His work has been exhibited worldwide and a number of his series were taken during a residency in Beijing at the Redgate Gallery in China. Paris based publishers, LozenUP, have just released a limited edition publication of the 100 Flowers series. Louis’ work was also featured in The Collector’s Guide to Emerging Art Photography, published by the Humble Arts Foundation.
These photographs depict the installation of floral displays in the lead up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
