Jennifer Kaczmarek
Florida photographer, Jennifer Kaczmarek, has a natural affinity for capturing the essence of a child. She has been a participant observer in her own children’s lives, but she also creates work about children and families facing challenging situations. Jennifer shares on her blog, Taking Focus, a new project, Keep The Light On, that not only explores a family, but also solicits donations to help that family. I am featuring two series today, Love for Alyssa and Les Enfants.
Jennifer has a Bachelor’s in Architecture, Public and Urban Affairs with a focus on Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, FL. She later went on to study at the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, FL. Her project, Love for Alyssa was selected among the Critical Mass 50 of 2012. Jennifer currently resides in Palm Coast, FL, with her husband and three children; Bella, Chloe’, and Jack.
With the vision of expanding, we are now a 501c3 organization. On January 28, 2013 we launched our new website and announced our organizations new name, Taking Focus, Inc. We hope our organization will help people connect, and be inspired by the idea of what an impact we can make on someone else’s life.
