Thanks for the memories
My father-in-law died today and as my husband was packing to try to get back to NYC before he passed on (that didn’t happen), I printed out some of my favorite photographs of his father, so he could have the comfort of remembering him on the plane. As I was driving home from the airport, I started thinking about how, as photographers, we make the decision to be visual storytellers and memory makers. We get the opportunity to spotlight the nuances and details of life, not just the celebrations. I love that. And I loved him.
God bless you, Hank.
