Lauren Henkin
continuing to look a photographers from Photolucida
Portland photographer, Lauren Henkin’s wonderful work, is made so much richer by her honest and revealing statements. After discovering her intentions, her photographs become infused with a greater layer of emotion, the kind of emotion that comes from profound life changes. She has a remarkable way of expressing her feelings and fears through imagery, and ultimately she takes us on her journey, and we become her champions, wishing her all good things.
Work from three series are featured below. The first two explore the aftermath of a marriage and the third brings attention to another town called Charleston.
