Susan Worsham
This week I am featuring work that I encountered at Review LA, either in a review or at the Portfolio Walk.
I wrote about Susan Worsham’s work last fall on Lenscratch, so I was especially excited to meet her during Review LA. Though I didn’t get official time with her, I was wowed by new images on the Portfolio Walk. This was one of my favorite images of the entire review. The jpg doesn’t do it justice.
Susan is beginning work on a new series, Fallen from Trees, which is showcased below, and I’m also including some additional images from Some Fox Trails in Virginia. Susan’s work is garnering well deserved attention, and she recently won the Too Much Chocolate and Kodak Film Grant, was a Blurb Photography Book Runner Up, and included in the Project Basho Onward Exhibition. The joie de vivre of her personality indeed matched her amazing images, and I think we will continue to see her name on award and exhibition rosters.
