On Christmas Eve, when children around the world go to sleep with dreams full of what’s to come, I wanted to share some wonderful photographs by mother, writer, blogger,and photographer Jessica Shyba. Jessica has been documenting a remarkable relationship between her two youngest children: her third child Beau and a puppy named Theo. In recent months, her blog featuring updates on Beau and Theo and posts about life and motherhood, Mommasgonecity , has gone viral. Her photographs have garnered fans around the world, and in doing so, she has been able to draw attention to the the Santa Cruz SPCA and donations made in her honor have provided the organization with much needed support. In addition to many offers coming her way, she will also have a children’s book series based on Theo and Beau. Jessica has partnered with Fiewel & Friends to produce, Bedtime for Theo and Beau, the first of the two volumes, is set to be published on February 4, 2015.
