Renate Aller
I had the pleasure of seeing Renate Aller’s exhibition of seascapes at the Klompching Gallery in Brooklyn in November, and somehow managed to not meet her at Review LA so I could give her some well deserved kudos. An international artist, now living in New York, Renate’s work has been exhibited all over the world.
This body of work, Seascapes: One Location, 1999-present, reflects the changing seascape without changing the landscape. Shot from the same location, these rich prints are quite spectacular in person–not a pixel in site and it feels like you are connecting to something, dare I say, spiritually inclined.
