2025 What I’m Thankful For Exhibition
©Maggie Meiners, Freedom from Want, from Revisiting Rockwell, @maggiemeinersprojects, I am consistently grateful for family, friends, community, good health and my internal peace.
2025 has been a year that requires a bit more effort to think about what we are thankful for. But maybe that is exactly what we need to do to realize how lucky we are to be visual storytellers in a time of strife and travail. I have many things to be thankful for: a wonderful family, a community that is inspiring and supportive, and needless to say, the incredible group of photographers who contribute time, insights, and vision to this site. Lenscratch is all about community, about shining a light on each other, sharing and celebrating amazing work, and learning from each other. In a year that is filled with uncertainty and loss, it is a privilege to share your photographs today and remember what is truly important – Aline Smithson
