Many people seem to think it foolish, even superstitious, to believe that the world could still change for the better. And it is true that in winter it is sometimes so bitingly cold that one is tempted to say, ‘What do I care if there is a summer; its warmth is no help to me now.’ Yes, evil often seems to surpass good. Spring is officially here, but this year, after a harrowing winter, she might need a little encouragement. Today’s exhibition gets us in the mood for the wonderment of life anew: blossoms, green, the delicious smells, baby animals. It’s a new beginning and a celebration that life continues no matter the temperature. Thanks to all who shared their wonderful photographs and thanks also to Grant Gill for so skillfully compiling this exhibition.
